Reality TV star Kenya Moore and her adorable 5-year-old daughter, Brooklyn, are stepping into the literary world with their new children’s book, “Brooklyn Bound: Paris.”

In an exclusive chat with Fox Atlanta’s Alyse Eady, the  mother-daughter duo shared their inspiration and creative journey behind the project.

Kenya revealed, “I did all the illustrations for the book and I wrote the story with Brooklyn, but I had to pitch in when it came time to rhyming. She is really good at rhyming and helping me find words and things like that. She’s my travel buddy, my companion. She loves to travel the world with me and she’s gotten at least eight passport stamps!”

The spark for this book ignited when Brooklyn created her very own Bluey book.

“I made a Bluey book, and that’s how my mommy wanted to make a book,” Brooklyn shyly shared.

Kenya couldn’t help but gush about her daughter’s creativity, saying, “She wrote her own Bluey book with illustrations and stapled it together. She had a little help, but I was so impressed. I was like, you know what? Let’s talk about what we love together and inspire some other children and families to dream big.”

“Brooklyn Bound: Paris” is just the beginning; Kenya teased fans with the news that this will be a series, with the next installment titled “Brooklyn Bound: Kenya.”

The pair recently traveled to Kenya to gather inspiration for the sequel. Brooklyn fondly remembered the experience, saying, “We saw the animals migrate,” and with a giggle, added, “And I stepped on hippo poop!”

But the best partof traveling? “Seeing new cultures,” Brooklyn said.

Kenya aims to instill the values of exploration and entrepreneurship in her daughter, emphasizing the importance of seeing new cultures.

Kenya hopes to instill a sense of adventure and entrepreneurship in her daughter, emphasizing that “the world is bigger than our backyard.”

“It’s wonderful because it’s what I work so hard for,” the proud mom added.

Mark your calendars! “Brooklyn Bound: Paris” will be available just in time for Brooklyn’s sixth birthday on Sunday, November 3rd.
