In a revealing interview for Elle’s November cover story, Kylie Jenner opened up about motherhood, sharing her thoughts on raising her two children, Stormi, 6, and Aire, 2, in a world dominated by social media.

As someone who grew up in the spotlight, the beauty mogul is determined to protect her kids from the pressures that come with it for as long as she can.

Jenner explained, “When I do share my children, I want it to come from me or their father. Tt’s no socials for as long as possible.”

However, even with her best efforts, Jenner admits that her oldest, Stormi, occasionally surprises her by coming home with a TikTok dance or two.

“I’m like, ‘Where did you learn this?’” she joked

In a perfect world, Jenner hopes her kids won’t get their own social media accounts “until they move out of the house.”

The Kylie Cosmetics founder also talked about her experience as a young mother. “I got pregnant when I was 19. Having a baby really young was more shocking, maybe, because I saw these changes happening to my body—all these new stretch marks and things that I didn’t have before.”

She also revealed that she struggled with postpartum depression after giving birth, describing the experience as feeling like she was “on autopilot.”

Thankfully, her mom friends and famous sisters, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé Kardashian, were there to help her through the dark times. Khloé, in particular, has been a hands-on aunt, often stepping in to babysit when Jenner travels for work.

Now, having left the baby years behind her, Jenner is rediscovering her personal style and identity.

“I haven’t had a baby in a few years. The first part of my twenties was having children, learning what my personal style was and then losing it—not knowing how to dress, gaining 60 pounds for both pregnancies. It took me a year to feel like myself again,” she said. “At 27, I feel more confident and more like myself than ever.”
