The Club 520 podcast has fully immersed itself in the new sports media realm, carving out its niche and gaining over 450,000 subscribers on YouTube. With basketball legends like Derrick Rose, Kevin Garnett, and others featured on the show, its trajectory is only going up.

The trio’s lifelong friendship amplifies their chemistry on-air, making their discussions seamless. As the NBA season kicks off tomorrow, Club 520 takes a huge step forward, launching 520 In The Morning. It’s the same authentic experience, just at a new time. Former NBA player Jeff Teague, now recognized as one of the best storytellers in sports media, expressed his excitement for the new show, premiering tomorrow at 9 AM.

“As a former NBA player, I’ve always loved talking hoops and keeping it real about what’s happening on and off the court,” Teague shared. “With 520 In The Morning, we’re bringing that same energy to mornings, just in time for the NBA season. It’s not just about analyzing the game; it’s about the stories, the players, and the culture that make basketball what it is. We’re going live, we’re having fun, and most importantly, we’re keeping it 100 for all the fans. Get ready for some real, authentic takes!” Tune in Monday through Thursday at 9 AM.

Co-host Darrell Wells II brings another level of journalistic expertise, ensuring smooth transitions throughout conversations while maintaining a free-flowing feel that keeps guests comfortable. He explained how long he’s been waiting to solidify a Midwest sports show that stands out in the morning talk space.

“We’re excited to launch 520 In The Morning right at the heart of NBA season,” Wells said. “It’s been a vision of ours to bring a fresh, authentic Midwest voice to the morning sports talk scene. This show isn’t just about stats and scores; it’s about the conversations and culture that shape the game. We’re coming in live, connecting directly with our fans, and creating a vibe that’ll have you locked in every morning. It’s time to wake up, tune in, and be part of the movement!”

Co-host Brandon Hendricks, better known as B Henn, is known for his distinctive basketball acumen and signature all-black forces with white laces. His deep knowledge of the game allows him to revisit guests’ AAU and college days, often asking about former teammates and memories that most interviews miss. He’s excited to give fans a place to start their day with real conversations that will keep them engaged throughout the season.

520 In The Morning is all about giving fans a place to hear real sports talk with a unique perspective,” B Henn said. “We’re launching just in time for the NBA season, and we’re bringing the same passion we have on the court and behind the mic to your mornings. Whether it’s calling out the highs or speaking on the struggles, we’re bringing nothing but honest and entertaining takes. This is the show to start your day with if you want to know what’s really going on in sports.”

To clarify, 520 In The Morning does not replace the main show. Executive producer Mike Harris confirmed, “This is NOT replacing Club 520. The morning show is a separate sports show, and Club 520 will still drop episodes on Mondays and Thursdays at noon EST.”

With the NBA season kicking off, Club 520 is making big moves in the sports media space, and 520 In The Morning is set to bring even more exciting content for fans.
