One Aussie radio star has revealed the staggering amount he paid for Oasis tickets.
In case you missed it, the iconic ’90s rock band is bringing their 2025 reunion tour to Australia.
Tickets for the highly-anticipated Sydney and Melbourne shows went on presale yesterday, with fans across the country trying to secure a spot.
Radio personality Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald was among them, admitting his tickets were “not cheap”.

Speaking on the Nova 96.9 Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie show this morning, Fitzy shared that he and his group of friends dropped a whopping $2640 on presale tickets.
“This was my Taylor Swift moment,” he explained to co-hosts Kate Ritchie and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli, referencing the nationwide ticket-mania when Swift toured in February.
“I was trying to get Oasis tickets, guys, they were secured.
“I had to get the presale ballot, and then went into the presale yesterday. But yeah…not cheap.”

The presenter ended up spending $330 for each of the eight general standing tickets for him and his mates to see Oasis.
“What is going on?! $330 for standing?” a shocked Wippa asked.
On top of the expensive price, Fitzy revealed the tickets weren’t even prime position –they were for the back of the general standing area.

“But I don’t mind standing back a little bit from the stage,” he said.
“Well, you’re fine because you’re so tall,” Ritchie chimed in.
Brothers and former Oasis bandmates Noel and Liam Gallagher announced earlier this month they will bring their reunion tour Down Under next year.
The brothers confirmed they will play shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
But just days later due to the incredibly high demand, Oasis added not one, but two extra shows to the Australian leg of their world tour.
“Australia… Due to phenomenal demand, additional dates have been announced in both Melbourne and Sydney! #OasisLive25,” they wrote in a social media statement.
Oasis disbanded in 2009. Their 2025 world tour marks the first time the band have performed together in 15 years.
The group first announced in August they would be embarking on a stadium tour across the United Kingdom in 2025.
