Flau’jae Johnson, the 20-year-old LSU women’s basketball star and rising rapper, is expanding her influence far beyond the court and studio. In a major move highlighting her entrepreneurial spirit, Johnson recently purchased 20 acres of land in Atlanta, positioning herself as a leader in real estate and setting the stage for generational wealth.

“This land represents more than just an investment for me—it’s about building something bigger than basketball or music,” the NCAA champion shared. “I want to create opportunities for my community and leave a legacy that shows young women, especially young Black women, that we can do it all.”

Balancing her college career, music, and business ventures, Johnson is proving that young women can dominate in multiple fields while still in school. The SEC Freshman of the Year in 2023, she is set to take on a larger role with the Tigers this upcoming season, especially following the departures of key players like Angel Reese.

Flau’jae’s latest land purchase is part of her long-term vision to break boundaries and build a future where young Black women excel across industries. This accomplishment adds to an already impressive resume—Johnson signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation in January 2024, performed at the ESPY Awards and WNBA All-Star Game, and dropped a music video with Lil Wayne for their song “Came Out Like A Beast.” She also released her debut EP, “Best Of Both Worlds,” this summer.
