North West, the eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has lived her entire life in the public eye, and at just 11 years old, she’s already making a name for herself.

In an interview for Interview Magazine, North sat down with her mom, Kim, for a candid conversation, giving fans an inside look at her personality, interests, and her life growing up in the Kardashian-West family.

Cameras and Paparazzi: A Love-Hate Relationship

When Kim asked North if she enjoys being on camera, North didn’t hold back. “I like taking pictures of myself, but I don’t like when paparazzi do,” she revealed.

She added, “When I just woke up and there’s so much paparazzi, I’m like, ‘Yo, I’m going to sue you.’” However, she admitted that if she’s feeling ready and her outfit is on point, she’s all for posing for pictures.

Fashion Inspirations: A Mix of the ’90s and Streetwear

It’s no secret that North is already developing her own sense of style. When asked about her favorite look at the moment, she named streetwear and the ’90s as her go-to vibes, along with Tyler, the Creator, her dad, and herself as her style icons. And it looks like fashion is more than just a passing interest for her—she’s starting her very own clothing line. “Well, I am starting my own clothing line,” she shared, and when asked what she plans to name it, the answer was simple: “North West.”

School and Favorite Classes

Like many kids her age, she’s not a big fan of school. When Kim asked about her favorite class, North made it clear, “I don’t like school.” However, she does enjoy Latin, much to her mom’s relief—especially with a Latin test on the horizon.

Though her mom says she’s a great artist, North confessed that art class is not exactly her favorite. “I do not like art,” she admitted, adding, “I like art, but my art class is very annoying.”

A Strong Faith and A Big Heart

North also shared her faith, emphasizing that she always seeks to spread the gospel and help people understand how “problems get solved if they follow [God’s] word and his way.” She’s already helping her younger siblings—Chi, Psalm, and Saint—get in touch with their spirituality. North recalled a memorable moment during a trip to Italy with her dad, where she felt compelled to teach her siblings to pray after seeing some unsettling statues.

She recalled, “It was just us and my siblings, and that’s when I really brought them close to god, because we had this house and there was these devil statues, and I was like, “Mm-mm, mm-mm, no, girl.” I was like, “We got to pray.” So then I taught Chi and Psalm and Saint how to pray. God really did his thing after.”

Halloween Plans and Mom’s Cooking

As Halloween approaches, North is planning to pay tribute to one of her favorite artists by dressing up as Tyler, the Creator—not once, but twice.

She is also going to be “a sailor pirate and a mermaid with my two besties. Shout out to them. And I’m going to be Kai [Cenat] and Tyla. I’m going to be Nicki Minaj, and then I’m going to be Princess Peach and Princess Daisy with Chi.”

But perhaps the funniest moment of the interview was when Kim asked about her cooking. North was quick to point out that her mom hadn’t cooked in a while, with the last time being “two Halloweens ago.” Despite that, she complimented Kim’s mac and cheese and fried chicken but added with a cheeky grin that her favorite dish from her mom is cucumbers and salt.
