Sai De Silva is clapping back after Brynn Whitfield leaked her shady text about co-star Jessel Taank during the RHONY season 15 premiere.
During the RHONY season 15 premiere, Brynn Whitfield read the text from Sai De Silva: “F–k you [Jessel] and your Dory from Finding Nemo look-alike husband, too.”
Now, Sai De Silva is revealing the context of her text message and what was not explained in the RHONY episode.
On her Instagram Stories, the 43-year-old addressed the infamous text that “Brynn read on the show.”
“I just wanted to give some context because there’s absolutely no context to that message,” Sai said according to clip shared by @queensofbravo on Instagram. “One, I was mad as hell, okay? And when I’m mad, I have a horrible mouth. It could be very lethal, and I’ve been keeping it very PG.”
The RHONY star then explained the timeline of the text message.
“But I was fight[ing] with Jessel last year. This message was last year,” she noted. “We all know since then, me and Jessel have made up and moved on. I sent that message to Jessel in a group chat. So, everyone saw it, including Jessel. It wasn’t like I was talking behind her back. I was talking to her face.”
“But I have since apologized,” she added. “And me and Jessel are in a really good place. I love Jessel. But I wanted to give you guys some context of exactly where that message came from. I have no idea why it was read. It shouldn’t have been.”
As RHONY fans know, Sai and Jessel Taank butted heads throughout all of season 14, with Jessel even dubbing the social media influencer a “mean girl.”
During a 2023 interview with ET, Sai reacted to being labeled a “mean girl” by Jessel.
“I think when people hear honesty, it really does hurt their feelings at the end of the day, and it could come off in a way where I am being mean; but I’m definitely not a mean girl, not one bit. I’m just a very honest person. I’m a girl’s girl. She knows that at the end of the day,” Sai said.
In the same interview, Sai revealed that she and Brynn were “cool” but were no longer “best [friends].”
