Céline Dion has made a surprise appearance amid her ongoing health battle.
The music megastar popped up in a rather unexpected place – an American sport promotional video.
The singer appeared on screens in a pre-filmed video by NBC and Peacock to kick off the latest NFL game between the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Before she even appears on screens, the superstar’s voice is heard talking about her love of football as her hit track It’s All Coming Back to Me Now plays in the background.
“I think my favorite thing about this game is its power to connect who we are, to who we were,” Dion begins.
“To prove that our most powerful memories, our most enduring loves, can stay with us forever. You know what I’m talking about, right?”
Dion showed up on camera in the studio wearing an old Super Bowl sweatshirt.
“Sometimes, some nights, it all just comes back,” she said, referencing her own lyrics.
With Dion’s 1996 track playing, the video then cuts to old footage of the teams playing each other throughout the years.

“Their love affair, well maybe not love the way I usually sing about it,” she quipped about the rival football teams.
“But still, work with me here. I mean, ‘When you touch me like this, When you hold me like that’. It kind of fits, no?” she narrated over the footage.

Dion added that “like so many old flames, it always feels right when they’re back together, don’t you think?”
In a hilarious twist, as the video comes to an end and Dion’s song reaches a crescendo, the singer has buckets of Gatorade poured over her head.
Dion has made her love of sports known over the years.
Earlier this year the star was spotted singing on the jumbotron at a Boston hockey game.
Before the hockey game Dion appeared in a video posted by the Boston Bruins, where she read the team’s starting lineup for the game.
Dion also recently performed at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 amid her ongoing battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.
The singer revealed in 2022 she was diagnosed with the rare neurological disorder.
