Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg went all out when his wife, Priscilla Chan, needed a minivan.

The tech billionaire has added bespoke car design to his list of side projects.  He partnered with West Coast Customs, famous for their unique car makeovers, specifically on the throwback MTV show, “Pimp My Ride,” to transform a Porsche Cayenne GT into an elongated automobile for Chan, essentially making a Porsche minivan.

Zuckerberg’s idea to stretch the Cayenne Coupe into a family-oriented vehicle is an unexpected twist in the luxury SUV world, though car manufacturers are likely intrigued by this innovation.  The project involved lengthening the wheelbase and adding sliding doors.  But that wasn’t the only modification.  The custom Cayenne sits lower to the ground, boasts a larger rear spoiler, and rolls on striking black alloy wheels accented with yellow brake calipers.

This ambitious creation’s base is the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, a powerhouse equipped with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine, delivering a massive 484kW.  While it’s unclear if Zuckerberg tinkered with the car’s performance, the Turbo GT pedigree ensures that this is no ordinary family ride.

Apparently, one reimagined Porsche wasn’t enough.  Zuckerberg also added a Porsche 911 GT3 Touring to his collection.  Known for its manual transmission and race-inspired design, the GT3 is a sharp contrast to the Cayenne minivan, though both vehicles reflect Zuckerberg’s appreciation for Porsche’s engineering. It’s unknown how much Zuckerberg paid for these vehicles, but with a net worth of over $200 billion, he likely spared no expense.

He debuted his creation on Instagram, sparking both critique and applause.

“New side quest.  Priscilla wanted a minivan, so I’ve been designing something I’m pretty sure should exist: a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan.  Threw in a manual GT3 Touring to make it his and hers.  Thanks @porsche and @westcoastcustoms for helping to make this happen,” he confirmed in his post.
