News of Rizzle Kicks return to the live scene comes hot on the heels of the release of their latest single ‘Gumdrops’ – a continuation of their mature and evolved new sound.
Offering a nuanced discussion about masculinity and lad culture, the track’s smooth bassline weaves between Jordan and Harley’s vocals as they capture the bittersweet essence of adolescence.
Commenting on the timely track, the duo say: “‘Gumdrops’ is our homage to growth, discussing what ‘lad culture’ used to be when we grew up. It was interesting delving back into the questionable ideologies that created us. Sugar is also a persistent issue for us both and potentially the entire world because it’s so addictive, haha. And then finally the gumdrops line slipped in partly in homage to an old song we used to love by a rap crew called LDN Zoo”

Next month on Friday 8th November, Rizzle Kicks are set to perform their first headline show in nearly a decade at London’s iconic KOKO in Camden.
The highly sought after show sold out in less than a minute, with fans eager to see the duo’s first performance back together.
Speaking ahead of the show, the pair tell fans: “We’re back and we’re finally doing it again. Being back on stage together is one of the things we’ve been looking forward to most about this comeback and it would mean the world doing it with you guys. We just can’t wait to play some new tracks, and some old ones of course, and do what we love the most, together.”
