RHONY star Ubah Hassan throws shade at co-star Brynn Whitfield amid their tense season15 feud.
While appearing on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, the 41-year-old was asked about her conflict with Brynn, which played out in Tuesday’s season 15 premiere. The model pretended not to know who her 38-year-old co-star was.
“Who?” the Ubah Hot founder said during a cast interview with RHONY co-stars Sai De Silva, Racquel Chevremont, and Rebecca Minkoff. Ubah’s answer incited a burst of giggles from her cast members.
“I have extensions,” she continued while flipping her long hair. “These are long. I can’t hear you.”
In the first few minutes of Tuesday’s episode, it was revealed that Ubah and Brynn were not on speaking terms as of June 25, 2024, five days after filming on season 15 wrapped. On that day, the cast had to reconvene at Pier59 Studios to shoot the opening credits for the Real Housewives of New York.
Throughout production for season 15, the two New York Housewives threw constant barbs at each other. In the season 15 trailer, Brynn shaded Ubah for taking modeling jobs for Dressbarn, while the model accused the marketing consultant of “s—king dick” for a job.
In one flashback scene, Ubah teased that Brynn had made an offensive remark about her on camera that has yet to air.
“You want the f–king tape? She said that!” Ubah said as Brynn shouted back, “[Hassan is] a six-foot f–king toddler!”
In another scene, Ubah seemingly gives her RHONYco-stars and production an ultimatum.
“If you guys believe her, I quit,” she stated.
Then, at the RHONY season 15 opening credits shoot, Erin Lichy and Jessel Taank shared their frustration with the situation.
“We need to stand up for what’s right,” Erin said, to which Jessel replied, “I think you and I have kind of been in the middle of this. We’re both really close with Ubah, we’re both really close with Brynn.”
Erin couldn’t fathom what it felt like for Brynn and Ubah to come face to face after their blowup.
“I don’t even know how they’re going to be in the same room together today,” she admitted while getting her hair and makeup done.
She noted that there “needs to be apologies on both sides” from both Brynn and Ubah.
While chatting with “Virtual Reali-Tea,” Ubah encouraged fans to pay close attention as her drama with Brynn plays out throughout season 15.
“Take your notes and start writing them. Just watch the show, and at the end, you can decide,” she teased. “Don’t come to conclusions. Please watch it, all the episodes.”
The Real Housewives of New York airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
