British singer / songwriter Calum Scott gives us all in the feels today (October 4th) with the release of his brand new single “My World” – a poignant, and romantic love song that sees the BRIT nominee find a new way to say: “I love you”.
Produced by LVLS and longtime collaborator Jon “MAGS” Maguire (Jax Jones, Tiesto), and co-written by Scott, along with Maguire, Josh Record (Avicii, DNCE), and Adrien Nookadu (M-22), the life-affirming power ballad serves as the follow up to the singers blissed-out summer anthem “Roots”, which continues to make waves around the globe, it’s good time vibe and positive message to remain close to loved ones striking a chord with Scott’s army of loyal fans and followers.
“‘My World’ is a new way of saying: ‘I love you’ – it is a return to the ballad for me with classic songwriting but with fresh production that I‘m really excited to share!” Calum says of the heartfelt love song. “Having toured in stadiums with Ed Sheeran for the last 9 months and watching, in particular, the emotional songs resonate with thousands of people across the globe, I’m looking forward to be coming back with something that I think my fans will really love!
