It may have taken place just over three decades ago, but Aussie sport fans have voted Tina Turner’s iconic 1993 show as the best NRL Grand Final performance of all time.

The late singer, who died in May last year at her home in the town of Küsnacht near Zurich, Switzerland, at the age of 83, put on an electrifying performance of one of her greatest hits.

Turner hit the stage and had crowds singing with her as she performed The Best at the match between the Brisbane Broncos and the St. George Illawarra Dragons.

In an exclusive poll of Nine readers, 34 per cent voted Turner to take out the top spot.

Jimmy Barnes, who notably collaborated with Turner on a duet of The Best, nabbed the second spot with seven per cent of readers voting for the rocker.

Another memorable performance (perhaps not in a good way) was by singer Billy Idol, who performed at the 2002 NRL Grand Final, but unfortunately suffered a power failure during the show.
