During Sunday’s game between the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets, Broncos running back Tyler Badie suffered a severe injury that required him to be taken out of the game on a stretcher.
The nerve-wrenching moment happened late in the first quarter when Jets linebacker Quincy Williams caused Badie to fumble the ball, resulting in a hard hit.
The Jets quickly recovered the ball, leading to a field goal, but the score was overshadowed by Badie after he returned to the sidelines and unexpectedly collapsed. The scene immediately drew concerns from fans and teammates. Broncos running back Javonte Williams was one of the first people to tend to Badie and appeared to be visibly shaken up as trainers tried to assist him. Fortunately, the medical team stabilized Badie and placed him onto a backboard before carrying him off the field.
There haven’t been any official updates on Badie’s condition as of now, though some sources claim he has a back injury. The incident undoubtedly shifted the energy on the rest of the game.
