SOLIS4EVR delves a little deeper to showcase the true extent of her artistry, with the unveiling of a new visual for her summer single ‘sorry 4 calling’.

Arriving hot on the heels of the singers latest EP ‘GHOST TOWN’, the self-directed clip sees SOLIS4EVR play the role of an aspiring performer who is in the process of auditioning for a show, whilst in her personal life she has been “ghosted by her lover and simply cannot process it”.

Throughout the video the ‘girl on a mission’ star is seen calling her erstwhile lover to no avail, sending her mental health spiralling. Growing more and more erratic and distraught as time passes, the  visual reaches a crescendo as her partner walks in to the auditorium during her callback performance which causes her to faint.

Commenting on the video, the Nigerian indie-pop goddess says: “I wanted the visual depiction of ‘sorry 4 calling’ to be an independent story, from its origin story; I wanted to surprise my listeners and pull them into something new. Everything I create is a new world, I’m creating worlds inside worlds… and thus the ‘sorry 4 calling lore’ expands. Directing this video was a dream come true and I couldn’t be more proud that this is my directorial debut. Being a storyteller is deeply important to me and I hope this story inspires something in someone, I hope it makes you feel.”

Having initially gained major traction online, performing remakes of contemporary pop classics on her YouTube channel, SOLIS4EVR further captured public attention in 2019 via her show-stopping feature on Odunsi (The Engine)’s debut album ‘rare’, and her viral first single ‘Watch Me’.

In 2021 the rising star further solidified her place in pop with the release of her debut EP ‘Stairway To Heaven’ – a spirited collection of sonically diverse tracks that went on to amass over half a million streams.

With the release of her latest EP ‘GHOST TOWN’, the Lagos-based pop powerhouse takes listeners on a dizzying ride through the complex emotions one can experience when dealing with a broken heart.

Bursting with electrifying guitar riffs, pulsating rhythms, and 80s inspired synths, the 6-track collection sees the ’Abeg’ singer set the all-too familiar doom and gloom that accompanies a break-up, against up-tempo instrumentation, and bouncy lyrical anthems brimming with hope, to produce a series of addictive, indie-pop bops that prove there is in fact a better, happier life on the other side of the heartache.
