Domani Harris, son of rapper and actor T.I., has officially confirmed what his father revealed earlier this month—he’s now a dad!

In video posted on Instagram, Domani rapped, “Okay a day before that happened, i was on the phone with Cole, telling him about my daughter. Yeah, i had me one of those.”

He went on to address his hesitation in sharing his daughter with the world, saying, “I was clearly hesitant about me showing to the world the new life that i created. Yeah i made my mama grandma and my pops and grandpa too. And I made my girl a mom before she got to say i do. I do believe in marriage, but don’t hold it high as you. But i don’t believe in publicizing kids before they choose.”

“I’m not hiding her from you. It just need to be her decision until then, we’ll see it through possibly coming soon,” he concluded.

During an interview with Atlanta’s Hot 107.9, T.I. let slip that he’s a proud grandfather of two granddaughters—and now, thanks to King Harris, he’s expecting his first grandson as well.

“Yeah, I got two granddaughters, and I got a grandson on the way,” T.I. said. “King’s about to have a son.”

The rapper expressed a sense of satisfaction in seeing his children finally understanding the value of responsibility.

He said, “I mean, it’s great to have them doing their own thing out of my house, you know. It’s great to watch them do their own thing at their own place, you know what I’m saying.”

He added, “And, and I see now that they can understand the value of, of, of taking care of stuff. Because before, in my house, they tore stuff up. They never cared, you know. Nobody ever cared, like I would buy a new one right now. But if you tear something up at their house, they understand, you know what I mean.”

T.I. and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, raise a blended family of seven children, including Zonnique, 28, Messiah, 24, Domani, 23, Deyjah, 23, King, 20, Major, 16, and Heiress, 8.
