As the federal investigation against Diddy intensifies, previous interviews he’s given—as well as others who have at one point found themselves inside the rapper’s inner circle—are being put under the microscope. Ashton Kutcher is the latest, with a 2019 appearance on the popular YouTube series, Hot Ones.

Before the shocking allegations against Diddy, his parties were considered legendary. However, according to insiders, party guests were invited to snort substances like ecstasy and cocaine on different substances including models’ bodies. Pictures obtained by The Daily Mail show topless models pouring champagne into a guest’s mouth in a pool.

While it’s unclear what the relationship between Kutcher and the rapper is now (nor was Kutcher named in the 14-page indictment against Diddy), his interview with Sean Evans has raised eyebrows. “Diddy party stories are our favorite kind of anecdote,” Evans said. “I’ve got a lot I can’t tell,” Kutcher joked. He paused. “Can’t tell that one either. … I’m actually cycling through them. Diddy party stories, man, that was some weird memory lane thing.”

Kutcher then explained how their friendship was a bit weird. “Our relationship is really bizarre,” he continued. “It started over Punk’d because he was like, ‘Yo, you can’t punk me!’ I was like, ‘I don’t know what to tell you, everybody is on the table.’ That started our conversation. We became fast friends and we used to just hang out, watch football together.”

The actor then detailed a time when the two A-listers went for a run. “Halfway through the run, he goes, ‘Yo, I’m running out of gas right now,’” Kutcher recalled. “But we had paparazzi all around us at the time. He’s like, ‘You gotta slow down but make it look like you’re not slowing down because I don’t want to look like I’m not going to be able to finish this thing.’ He was losing it.” He added, “[Diddy] just can’t lose. Even when he’s that close to humility, it becomes a driver and then he ran the New York Marathon.”

A source told Daily Mail that Kutcher does expect to be dragged into Diddy’s legal drama. “He is expecting a subpoena, as they have been good friends for 20 years,” they said. “There is no way in hell Ashton or Mila will be showing any sort of public support for Diddy right now. Regardless of Ashton’s long history with him, he has distanced himself from Diddy since Cassie’s lawsuit, and even more so in the wake of the new ones. Mila will not let Ashton be in any sort of contact.”

There were times, according to court documents, when Diddy’s parties took a dark turn. On page 6 of the 14-page indictment against Diddy, the rapper’s “freak-offs”—a term he coined—are described as “elaborate and produced sex performances that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded,” the document claimed.

“In arranging these freak-offs, Combs, with the assistance of members and associates of the Combs Enterprise, transported, and caused to be transported, commercial sex workers across state lines and internationally. Freak-offs occurred regularly, sometimes lasted multiple days, and often involved multiple commercial sex workers.”
